Oil and Lemon Dressing

A Julia Child recipe

Julia Child

Serves 6-8

1 tablespoon fresh lemon zest
1/4 teaspoon salt, plus more, if needed
1/2 tablespoon Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/2 cup olive oil
Freshly ground pepper

Combine all ingredients in a jar and shake. Serve over salad, shaking to mix as needed.

Tip: This dressing will add zest to all salads, and is terrific on Salade Nicoise.
