Online Voting Opens in Design Against Fur’s 2010 People’s Choice Award
London (1st October 2010) – The award-winning artworks eligible for the 2010 People’s Choice Award have been created by 11 students in Australia, China, Denmark, Russia and UK. Voting takes place throughout October at inFURmation.com/daf/2010/votepca10.php. The winners will be announced in early November at inFURmation.com.
“The students have used their creative skills brilliantly to interpret the cruel reality of the fur industry and to explain why it is so important to say no to real fur,” said Mark Glover, director of Humane Society International/UK. “Now everyone has a chance to vote for their favourite award-winning poster—and to help one of the students clinch $US 500.”
The top placed winners are judged for both the Grand Prize Award and the People’s Choice Award. All the winning 2010 artworks—and the top three 2010 international animation competition winners—can be seen here.
