When: The last Tuesday of February, but events and activities can take place throughout the whole month of February. Spay Day International 2008 is on February 26.

Why: It's not just rabbits who multiply like rabbits! Millions of kittens and puppies are born every hour. While these baby animals are adorable, the fate of most of them is tragic.
