O ministério da Agricultura, Alimentação e Assuntos Rurais da Coreia, elaborou um plano quinquenal para o bem-estar animal, delineando uma série de propostas sobre a experimentação animal. Essa ação foi recebida com muito entusiasmo pela campanha Liberte-se da Crueldade da Humane Society International. No entanto, a #LibertesedaCrueldade pede que as autoridades sul-coreanas garantam que uma proibição total de testes em animais para cosméticos seja implementada, incluindo tanto produtos finais acabados como ingredientes.

India Confiscates Hundreds of Animals at Nepal Border as Illegal Transport Ban Takes Effect Ahead of Gadhimai Festival
HSI undertook a special mission to Nepal in collaboration with People for Animals and Animal Welfare Network Nepal where they met the President and the Prime Minister of Nepal, as well as Temple officials to call for a suspension of the sacrifice of half a million buffalo, goats and hens at this year's Gadhimai festival.
