SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, OPERATIONS
Alexandra supports HSI’s work on behalf of animals as a key leader and strategic adviser for the day-to-day oversight of program and operational functions. Her role includes managing the team that opens and assists new offices around the world, ensuring all in-country procedures and requirements are met initially and continuously thereafter, and providing the teams with the necessary administrative and program support from headquarters and locally. She also helps ensure internal efficiencies. Ms. Freidberg is an attorney who, prior to working at HSI, did pro bono work with the HSUS’s animal protection litigation group and served on the board of HSI/Europe. Previous experience also includes the practice of regulatory and transactional law with an environmental focus. She also worked as an environmental engineer, helping to remediate some of the most contaminated sites in the country. Alexandra holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Stanford University and a Juris Doctor degree from George Washington University Law School.
