Alexandra Freidberg

SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, OPERATIONS

Alexandra Freidberg is the senior vice president of operations for Humane Society International. Freidberg oversees and supports global operations for HSI’s offices and programs.

Freidberg is an attorney who has worked at top 50 international law firms and as in-house counsel. She previously worked as an environmental engineer, helping to remediate sites in the United States and internationally. Prior to working for HSI, Freidberg did pro bono work for the Humane Society of the United States’ animal protection litigation group and served on the board of HSI/Europe. She holds a bachelor’s of science degree from Stanford University and a law degree from George Washington University Law School. She is originally from Belgium and currently lives in Virginia with her husband, two young children and rescue dogs Peppa and Minnie.
