Erin Frackleton

Erin FrackletonErin Frackleton is the chief operating officer of the Humane Society of the United States and Humane Society International. She leads the technology, strategy, human resources, internal communications and risk teams.

Prior to joining the fight for all animals, Frackleton was a partner at McKinsey & Company, where she worked with corporate and nonprofit clients in the U.S., Europe, Middle East and Africa on strategy, organization and operations topics. She also did pro bono work with conservation and animal welfare nonprofits, including the HSUS. She previously held roles at the National Park Service, GE and the U.S. Senate.

Frackleton holds a B.A. in Politics and Economics from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Harvard Business School. She is an animal lover who, in addition to growing up with many cats, dogs and other small pets, got to enjoy being around orphaned opossums in the spring, as her mother was a wildlife rehabber—she still loves opossums very much! Frackleton lives in New Hampshire with her rescue dogs, Daisy and Athena, and is also an an avid hiker, cyclist and skier.
