Humane Society International (HSI) offers an optional text messaging service to supporters in the United States interested in the protection of all animals. Please read these mobile terms and conditions before signing up to receive text messages from HSI. Text HSI to 29499 to receive text messages from HSI with updates and ways you can help animals. By subscribing, you consent to receive autodialed, recurring text messages from HSI. Message and data rates may apply. If you have any questions, text HELP to 29499 or contact us at 202-452-1100 or info@hsi.org. To stop receiving messages, text STOP to 29499. There is no fee from HSI to receive text messages. However, your mobile service provider’s standard messaging and data rates may apply—please check with your mobile service provider for more information. All charges are billed by and are payable to your mobile service provider or deducted from your prepaid account. You do not need to purchase anything to receive text messages from HSI.Data obtained from you in connection with HSI’s text messaging service may include your mobile phone number, your carrier’s name and the date, time and content of your messages. We may use this data to contact you and provide marketing information about our activities, news, action alerts and fundraising or provide services you request from us. Alerts sent via SMS may not be delivered if the mobile phone is not in range of a transmission site, or if sufficient network capacity is not available at a particular time. Even within a coverage area, factors beyond the control of the wireless operator may interfere with message delivery, including the customer’s equipment, terrain, proximity to buildings, foliage and weather. Wireless operators do not guarantee message delivery and will not be held liable for delayed or undelivered messages. HSI will not be liable for any delays in the receipt of any SMS message as delivery is subject to effective transmission from your network operator.
